The ANA seeks a strategic thinker with strong project management skills and a commitment to team work to lead its survey research program.

The ANA fields 12 surveys per year and the market research analyst will be responsible for the day-to-day functions associated with the program including designing survey questionnaires, analyzing data, creating reports, and being involved in expanding our survey community of marketing professionals.

Job Responsibilities:

1.      Market Research Analytics
·         Lead study design meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
·         Design web-based survey questionnaires to ensure the necessary data is captured.
·         Compose survey invites to varying target constituencies.
·         Conduct both basic statistical analysis and in-depth data analyses using traditional and advanced methods.
·         Apply qualitative and quantitative techniques to interpret the data and produce substantiated recommendations.
·         Create graphical displays to convey survey findings and insights.
·         Author effective reports containing graphs, tables, summaries, and narratives along with actionable, industry-specific recommendations.
·         Provide critical thinking, insights, and forward-looking statements that impact our members’ businesses and careers.
·         Partner with Marketing Communications in the design/creation of research reports, charts, as well as promotional materials.
·         Collaborate with ANA’s public relations team in the creation of press releases based on survey research findings.

2.      Survey Community Management
·         Utilize an online survey program to monitor the quality of the data, increase response rates, and clean non-qualified respondents.
·         Collaborate with internal team members on panel development.
·         Maintain/analyze panel activity dashboard.
·         Analyze user data to increase satisfaction and loyalty among survey panelists and ANA members.

Qualifications: 

·         Bachelors or advanced degree in business, mathematics, or the sciences.
·         3+ years of experience within the custom research industry.
·         Necessary personal qualities include flexibility, independence, energy, the ability to multitask, and commitment to quality and teamwork.
·         Strong analytic and critical thinking skills.
·         Project management experience.
·         Knowledge of basic statistics, research procedures, and survey methodology.
·         Background in the advertising/marketing industry.
·         Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
·         Experience with B-to-B/professional research panels is a plus.
·         Strong organizational skills and outstanding attention to detail.
·         Expertise with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
·         Strong presentation skills.
·         Attend ANA events as needed, some travel may be required.
