P/T - Adjunct Reference Librarian - College of New Rochelle (4 locations)

ADJUNCT REFERENCE LIBRARIANS
                                                                      
The Gill Library at The College of New Rochelle is seeking 4 Adjunct Reference Librarians, each to work part time at one of the following branch campus locations:

The College of New Rochelle
Gill Library
29 Castle Place
New Rochelle, NY 10805 (limited hours)

John Cardinal O’Connor Campus
332 East 149th Street
Bronx, NY 10451

Rosa Parks Campus
144 West 125th Street
New York, NY 10027

Brooklyn Campus
1368 Fulton Street
Brooklyn, NY 11216

Responsibilities include:
·         Reference Services (in person including assistance with all print and electronic resources and services as well as virtual reference using AskUs 24/7)
·         Library Instruction sessions and Workshops as needed
·         Overall supervision of Library operations including supervision of staff and student assistants in the absence of full time librarian
·         Collaborate with full time Librarian and on innovative ways to promote library resources and services

Requirements: An ALA-accredited Masters in Library Science.  Two years of academic library and teaching experience (preferably using learning response systems) needed.  Experience with virtual reference preferably OCLC QuestionPoint.  The position may include evening, weekend, and holiday hours and is available immediately.
